Senior Project Manager – Burbank

CDI Business solutions currently has a contract to hire assignment for one of our premier clients in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey for a Senior Project Manager.

Resource Responsibilities:

Project Scheduling, coordination with I.T., business, and vendors.

* Managing the development team and managing and meeting the expectations of our business users.

* Must be able to manage a project from its inception through its successful conclusion.

* Oversee the entire project life cycle, from project approval through to project closure.

* Provide hands-on project management and actively manage project plan, deliverables, dependencies and outcome for a variety of selected projects.

* Prepare and manage a communication plan and related project status reports to key stakeholders and upper IT mgmt on activities and deliverables as well as risks and mitigation strategies.

* Identify and manage overall project dependencies and ensure project deliverables stay on time, on-target and on budget.

* Scope the project and implement the project plans in accordance with the client's needs, using formalized requirements, use cases, through project startup, execution and completion.

* Oversee the project team, identify needed resources, assign responsibilities and develop timeframes to facilitate successful completion of project activities and deliverables. This includes both project and daily RTS tasks.

* Participate in internal / external reviews and councils to move the project forward through NBCU's formalized internal project process.

* Ensure the projects delivery meets the goals and objectives set forth as previously agreed upon, through the development and execution of formalized test plans, and test cases.

* Effectively apply NBCU's methodology and enforces project standards.



Resource Skill Requirements:

* Minimum 8 years IT experience.

* Minimum 5 years Project Management experience.

* Minimum of 2 years analyst experience including: RUP project development methodology, use case preparation and data modeling

* Minimum of 2 year experience working on multiple tasks simultaneously

* Minimum 3 years of experience utilizing MS Project or similar scheduling tool to manage projects

* BS Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other computer related degree or equivalent work experience

Desired:

* Media / Entertainment industry experience.
